\n Where does dust come from in the grain industry?\n <\/p>\n

Sources of dust in grain plants are many and varied. \r
They most often arise during:\r
– <\/span> transport of raw materials (belt conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators),\r
–<\/span> cleaning and sorting of grains,\r
– <\/span> milling in roller mills or beater mills,\r
– <\/span> transferring and storage in silos,\r

These processes generate significant amounts of fine dust, which is easily airborne and can form explosive mixtures with air.
