The 29th edition of the “Complex Waste Management” conference, organized by Abrys – one of the most important events in the environmental protection and municipal management industry – was held on 3-5.09.2025. Among the participants was the NEU-JKF company, which not only presented its solutions, but also acted as a speaker.
Challenges and needs of the industry
Modern waste management is not just a matter of collecting and disposing of waste, but first and foremost a matter of managing resources in a responsible and sustainable manner. Dynamic economic development, urbanization and growing consumption mean that the amount of waste generated is constantly increasing. At the same time, societies and businesses are faced with the need to minimize their environmental impact. It is therefore becoming crucial to implement solutions in line with the principles of a closed-loop economy, which allow not only to reduce the amount of waste going to landfills, but also to recover valuable raw materials and energy.
The conference brought together experts, representatives of local governments, institutions and companies to discuss the most important challenges for the sector, such as:
– increasing regulatory requirements,
– implementing the principles of a closed-loop economy,
– reducing the carbon footprint,
– efficient use of raw materials and energy.
In this context, particularly relevant were the voices of practitioners and innovators who presented viable solutions that can be implemented in everyday operations.
NEU-JKF participation
One of the essential elements of modern waste processing plants are dust extraction systems that ensure safe and compliant working conditions. Dust generated during recycling, sorting or machining processes can pose a threat to both the health of employees and the environment. The use of innovative dust collection technologies significantly reduces atmospheric emissions, improves air quality in production halls and supports environmental goals. It is also an important element in building a positive image of companies that focus on safety and environmental responsibility.
NEU-JKF actively participated in the event, presenting innovative technologies in waste management, solutions supporting sustainable development and modern dust extraction systems adapted to current market needs.
During his speech, Marcin Kuczynski, Regional Sales Manager of NEU-JKF, talked about the importance of dedusting installations in the waste processing chain, among other things. He presented the technological capabilities of our company and discussed completed installations as proof of the validity of such investments.
Thanks to their attendance, participants had the opportunity not only to listen to lectures, but also to talk with NEU-JKF experts, exchange experiences and learn about the company’s offerings and technologies.
