NEU-JKF has started another major project for the wood and furniture industry. A state-of-the-art dust extraction system with a total capacity of 442,213 m³/h is being built for MM Szynaka Living.
The scope of the investment includes a comprehensive turnkey implementation – from the development of the technical design, through the production of equipment and delivery logistics, to the installation, commissioning and integration of control and safety systems.
The project will use three vacuum filters cooperating with fans equipped with direct drives and Siemens inverters. The installation will be integrated with the intelligent NESS system, which automatically adjusts the dust removal operating parameters to the current production demand. The solution significantly reduces electricity consumption and optimizes the operation of the entire system.
According to the assumptions of the project, the modernization will allow to achieve energy savings of up to 55% in relation to the currently operated dust collection system.
An important element of the investment is also the modernization of the spark detection and extinguishing system in accordance with the requirements of VDS and the use of solutions that meet ATEX standards.
A special organizational challenge is the fact that the implementation is carried out during normal operation of the plant, without stopping production. All assembly and modernization activities are carried out in stages, in close cooperation with the customer, so as to ensure the continuity of production processes.
