Project objective: Implementation of an automated sawdust loading system at a truck loading station
NEU-JKF has completed a complex project for BRW, one of the leaders in the furniture industry. The investment included the implementation of a modern sawdust loading system, based on our advanced TLS (Truck Loading System)
Key assumptions of the project
Our main goal was to provide a fully automated system that guarantees:
Operational safety – thanks to a built-in trailer grounding module that eliminates the risk of electrostatic discharge in hazardous areas.
Efficiency of the loading process – handling up to 8 tons of sawdust per hour with minimal operator involvement.
Scope of implementation:
Removal of an existing conveyor from under one of the silos.
Installation of a new EX version scraper conveyor (redler) for transporting sawdust.
Installation of a loading station with a hydraulic system for lifting and lowering onto a truck trailer. Connection of automation, motors and performance testing of the entire system.
Key components of the installation:
1. Target valve JK-75 S ATEX compliant for smooth material metering.
2. Dedicated components and fittings for precise connection of the conveying system.
3. Scraper conveyor in EX version (redler) with ATEX membranes and explosion decoupling module, transporting sawdust from under two silos to the loading station.
4. Hydraulic system for safe loading of sawdust onto a truck trailer.
5. Grounding module of the tira trailer, which monitors the safe grounding and prevents the start of operation in case of failure to secure.
