One of the most important industrial projects related to the development of the domestic biofuel sector is underway in Kętrzyn. ORLEN Południe is building a state-of-the-art rapeseed oil pressing plant, which, once operational, will be one of the largest facilities of its kind in Poland. The general contractor for the project is a consortium of Polimex Mostostal and AB Industry.
The plant was designed to process approximately 500,000 metric tons of rapeseed per year, which will enable the production of approximately 200,000 metric tons of oil used to produce low-emission biofuels. The investment is part of the ORLEN Group’s strategy to increase raw material security, develop the domestic supply chain, and strengthen Poland’s energy independence. According to information provided by the investor and the contractor, the value of the project is approximately 850 mln zł.
NEU-JKF is proud to be participating in this project by providing solutions designed to reduce dust emissions and maintain high environmental standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Dust extraction technology from NEU-JKF
As part of the scope of work being carried out, NEU-JKF is supplying:
– 2 BLOWER cyclofilters designed for dust removal from cleaning machines,
– PD filters for dust removal from receiving hoppers.
Dust collection systems are one of the key components of the infrastructure at facilities that process agricultural raw materials. The process of receiving, storing, cleaning, and transporting rapeseed generates significant amounts of process dust. Effective dust removal not only improves workplace safety and equipment reliability but also protects the environment and ensures compliance with stringent emission requirements.
The NEU-JKF solutions used were designed to ensure high dust separation efficiency, stable system operation, and adaptability to the intensive use typical of modern industrial facilities.
We support the development of Polish industry
NEU-JKF’s participation in the construction of an oil pumping station for ORLEN Południe is yet another example of the company’s commitment to strategic investments in the food, energy, and industrial sectors. Projects of this type require not only advanced process technologies but also proven dust collection systems that ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with environmental requirements.
We are pleased that our solutions can support an investment that will play a significant role in the development of domestic biofuel production and in increasing the use of Polish agricultural raw materials.
We would like to thank all our partners for their trust and for the opportunity to collaborate on a project of such great importance to Polish industry.
