The open-minded approach to design, the experience of the engineering team and its own manufacturing facilities allow NEU-JKF to realize even the most demanding and non-standard dust collection installations. One of the projects currently underway is an advanced system designed for the dedusting of fermentation tanks in pharmaceutical production processes.
The designed installation was fully tailored to the specifics of the technological process and the high requirements for reliability and operational safety. The key element of the system is Aqualine water filters, supported by powerful fans, forming a coherent and redundant dust collection system.
Aqualine – proven wet filtration technology
Aqualine filters are wet filtration solutions used wherever effective removal of dust, aerosols and process contaminants must go hand in hand with a high level of safety. The principle of operation based on the contact of contaminated air with water allows effective binding of particles and their removal from the system.
This technology is used, among others, in:
– pharmaceutical and chemical industries,
– processes requiring elimination of reactive or potentially explosive dusts,
– installations where stable and predictable system operation is crucial.
Compared to classic dry filters, wet systems offer additional benefits, such as reduced risk of dust ignition and the ability to operate in harsh process conditions.
Customized design and redundant layout
The current 37,000 m³/h plant is based on a redundant system, where dual use of key equipment protects the process from uncontrolled downtime. Aqualine filters equipped with 75 kW motors, together with 30 kW booster fans, ensure stable and continuous operation of the plant.
This design approach is made possible by full control of the process – from conception to design to production and testing.
Test bed and further stages of the project
For the purpose of implementation, a dedicated test stand is being built in Wolsztyn, where FAT tests will be carried out. These will allow verification of the installation’s operating parameters and confirmation of its compliance with design assumptions before installation at the investor’s site.
This project is yet another example of how design flexibility, proven technologies and in-house manufacturing enable NEU-JKF to realize solutions precisely tailored to individual customer needs and the specifics of their technological processes.
